ENGINEERING MEASUREMENT
The laboratory focuses on supporting research and development in manufacturing technologies, materials, designing innovative solutions, new types of equipment, manufacturing and testing prototypes and functional samples. We have advanced experimental equipment for measuring operational loads and responses, dynamic properties, noise, residual stresses in materials and thermal effects.
MEASUREMENT OF COMMON PHYSICAL QUANTITIES
Extensive measurements of common physical quantities using a large range of sensors for force, torque, operating pressure, temperature, speed, etc. The measuring apparatus has a large number of inputs with its own backup power supply.
MEASUREMENT OF STATIC AND DYNAMIC OPERATIONAL LOADS AND STRUCTURAL DEFORMATIONS
We carry out a wide range of strain gauge measurements of structures under load. The measuring apparatus has a large number of inputs and the measurements can be supplemented with defined load forces to determine fatigue life. Measurements using optical strain gauges, which have the advantage of resistance to electromagnetic interference.
EXTENSIVE TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENTS
Measurement of a large number of points with contact thermocouples or resistance sensors. Some measurements can be made at higher temperatures up to 650 °C.
HIGH-SPEED THERMAL IMAGING AND OTHER ACTIVITIES
Measurement and monitoring of the temperature fields of rapid events in full image size at 380 fps, and reduced size up to 25000 fps.
Other activities include vibration and noise measurements, experimental modal analysis or verification of computational models and analyses.
